A Journey Rooted in Passion, Purpose, and a Leap of Faith
Audrey and Patrick first met as 18-year-olds in the vibrant and chaotic backdrop of 1990s Chicago. Their shared journey into wine began in 1999—Patrick was immersed in a PhD program, while Audrey supported them both through her work in a VA research lab. But as time passed, disillusionment with academia gave way to a deeper realization: they were captivated by wine and enchanted by the spirit of Napa Valley.
With no real plan, they packed up their old, beat up Toyota 4Runner, leaving behind their conventional path and headed west, drawn by a desire to live with purpose and pursue their passion for wine in what felt like heaven on earth.
Over the years, their diverse experiences allowed them to contribute to an extraordinary spectrum of wineries—from large-scale icons like Sutter Home, Clos du Bois, Erath, and Chateau Ste. Michelle, to revered names such as Stags Leap Wine Cellars, Duckhorn, Antinori, and cult producers like Aubert, Colgin, and Paul Hobbs.
Their true wine education unfolded over a decade spent in the wineries and cellars of Napa and Sonoma. Eventually, with a growing family in tow, Audrey and Patrick set their sights on the Pacific Northwest, where they continued to deepen their roots in the world of wine.
After decades of helping others craft wines and build brands, they are now fortunate to pursue their own vision through a micro-winery where each wine is intensely personal and intentionally limited—rarely exceeding a single barrel (25 cases).
True to their enduring values of community, family, and friends, Audrey and Patrick continue to collaborate with old friends and respected producers to seek out exceptional wine from the finest regions—bringing thoughtfully made, emotionally resonant wines to the tables of those they care about most.
So please, open a bottle, share it with others, and celebrate the beauty of life, connection, and craft.
